Robert (Rob) Liscord focuses his practice on a wide range of affordable housing and community development finance transactions. He specializes in navigating complex state and federal housing financing programs, including Federal Low Income Housing Tax Credit, the Section 8 program, the USDA Section 515 Rural Development program, and other programs administered by HUD and USDA.
Rob represents developers, non-profits, and public housing authorities on all matters impacting affordable housing and community development projects, including negotiating acquisition and sale, structuring financing, and advising on program compliance, leasing, and occupancy. His background and experience include extensive work helping clients navigate projects financed or regulated by Maine State Housing Authority and assisting housing authorities to revitalize aging public housing to ensure it remains a safe and affordable for residents.
