One way that Klein Hornig fulfills its mission is an ongoing commitment to provide education and expertise to the affordable housing community.  As part of that commitment, our attorneys regularly give presentations and participate in conference panels on a variety of issues that impact the community.  On September 19, 2013, Aaron O’Toole, from our DC office, and Chrysa Long, from our Boston office, will speak at the DC Coalition for Nonprofit Housing and Economic Development (CNHED).  They will address the preservation of LIHTC projects as affordable housing following the end of the compliance period, as well as cases where a hypothetical event would cause the termination of the extended use agreement.
