Steve Sawicki joined Klein Hornig in August 2022 focusing his practice on a wide range of affordable housing and community development matters with particular emphasis on real estate transactions financed through federal and state tax credits.

Before joining Klein Hornig, Steve led real estate expansion at several early-stage companies, managing programmatic partnerships, network strategy and complex transactions. He previously worked as a real estate associate in the New York office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where he represented clients on real estate and corporate matters with a focus on debt and equity development financing, joint ventures, purchase agreements, and portfolio transactions.
