Rachel Shack joined Klein Hornig in November 2020 focusing her practice on a wide range of affordable housing and community development activities with particular emphasis on nonprofit organizations.
Prior to joining Klein Hornig, Rachel gained unique professional experience serving low-income communities as a teacher and practicing real estate law at a major law firm. Rachel’s time as a teacher deeply exposed her to the challenges and inequalities low-income families often face. As an associate in the Real Estate practice at a large local law firm, Rachel negotiated contracts including leases, subleases, purchase and sale agreements and joint venture documents.
