Akritee Aggarwal joined Klein Hornig in October 2018 with prior experience as a Housing Law Fellow at the DC Housing Authority, Office of the General Counsel where she focused on drafting and reviewing agreements involving the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program. Akritee also reviewed and drafted lender documents related to homeownership closings and refinancings. Additionally, Akritee represented the agency in administrative hearings involving Section 8 (the Housing Choice Voucher Program) non-compliance and public housing grievances.
Akritee earned her J.D. from The George Washington University in 2017, where she was a student attorney at the Small Business and Community Economic Development clinic. She provided legal services to Washington, D.C., area entrepreneurs and nonprofit organizations in a broad range of business matters related to corporations, limited liability companies, contracts, licensing, and federal tax exemption status.
