Klein Hornig LLP is seeking a tax associate attorney with at least 3 years’ experience for its Boston, Massachusetts office. The firm focuses on affordable housing and community development law. Our tax attorneys advise on transactions, compliance issues and complex structuring questions, review and negotiate equity documents, and render tax opinions, primarily involving real estate transactions that use one or more federal tax credits, including the low-income housing tax credit, the New Markets Tax Credit, and the historic rehabilitation tax credit, as well as numerous state tax credits.
Candidates must have experience with partnership tax law (Subchapter K) and a minimum of three (3) years’ experience practicing law as a tax attorney. Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials as well as strong writing, research and analytical skills. The successful applicant should demonstrate a commitment to Klein Hornig’s mission and a dedication to promoting affordable housing and community development. LL.M. is not required.
