Advising developers in an array of matters, Patrick Jenkins helps clients seize opportunities and complete transactions that result in affordable housing construction in the Maryland, Washington, DC, and Virginia region. He primarily represents developers seeking to create or preserve affordable housing.

Patrick assists clients with financing, business structure, regulatory, and operation related matters. Taking a solutions-oriented approach, he enjoys eliminating problems and finding ways around obstacles to keep deals moving forward. With strong organizational skills and an eye for detail, Patrick ensures everything stays on track. In addition to his diligent work ethic, clients appreciate his congenial nature and sense of humor, which helps relieve stress in pressure-filled circumstances.

  • Represented a Baltimore based nonprofit with the rehabilitation of 227 senior units in Baltimore City, MD using Section 202 Prepayment, Maryland CDA 4% Bonds, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credits.
  • Represented a DC based nonprofit developer with the rehabilitation and preservation of 202 affordable units in Southeast DC using HUD MUTM, DC DHCD 4% bonds, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credits.
  • Represented a joint venture in Frederick Maryland to create 56 units and 96 units of affordable housing using HUD 221(d)(4) and 9/4 twin Low-Income Housing Tax Credit financing.
