Klein Hornig is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal for our Washington, D.C. office. The Commercial Real Estate Paralegal provides support to Klein Hornig attorneys in all aspects of complex commercial affordable housing transactions, including drafting transaction and closing documents, conducting due diligence, coordinating with title companies, surveyors and zoning consultants, reviewing and summarizing title and survey documents, identifying endorsements and coverage necessary and preparing abstracts of title documents, forming and maintaining business entities, ordering and reviewing lien and judgment searches, and preparing and managing the drafting, exchange with other parties and finalization of real estate documents relating to all stages of a transaction through post-closing.
The successful candidate will be well organized, possess excellent writing, communication and client service skills, work well under pressure and interact with colleagues, clients and other third-parties with a high degree of professionalism and a can-do attitude.
