Klein Hornig Names New Partner and Welcomes New Associate

We are pleased to announce that Teresa M. Santalucia, formerly Senior Counsel at Klein Hornig, was named Partner effective January 1, 2016. Teresa has been with the firm since 2004 focusing her practice on affordable housing, community development activities, and matters of general nonprofit law. Representing a wide range of charitable and other nonprofit organizations, Teresa also regularly assists boards of directors in the development, refinement and updating of corporate documents and the design and implementation of best practices policies. She regularly presents on nonprofit corporate compliance and governance issues. Teresa earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and currently serves on the Lawyers Clearinghouse Board of Directors, the BBA Tax Exempt Organizations Steering Committee and is an elected commissioner of the Hanson Housing Authority.

The firm would also like to welcome Associate Rebecca Melaas, who will be joining our Boston office mid-January focusing her practice on federal and state income taxation. Before joining Klein Hornig, Becca worked for Locke Lord as a member of the firm’s Tax, Benefits & Compensation Department with current Klein Hornig attorneys, Steve Paul and Katie Day.
