On Thursday, February 25th, Boston partner, Teresa Santalucia led a presentation entitled, “Lobbying, Advocacy & Political Activities for 501(c)(3) Entities in an Election Year.” Teresa’s presentation gave a general overview of basic federal tax law for 501(c)(3) organizations. Teresa also focused on the differences between advocacy and lobbying as utilized by nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations.

The presentation lasted approximately two hours and was a joint project of the Lawyers Clearinghouse and Boston Community Investment Series.
