Andrew Gilmore Presents at 4th Annual BBA Charitable Board Service Program

On Thursday, January 22nd, Boston associate Andrew Gilmore presented to approximately 60 members of the Boston Bar Association. Andrew’s presentation focused on the legal duties and responsibilities of board members as they serve their community through participation on the board of directors of charitable organizations. The program was relevant for those who have limited experience serving on charitable boards, but would like to serve in the future. Andrew along with five other presenters focused on specific charitable board topics, including how to find board membership opportunities, board review of pertinent financial documentation, and current compliance issue.

The entire program lasted roughly three hours and was moderated by Klein Hornig LLP Senior Counsel, Teresa Santalucia. For more information on this program or future BBA programs please visit their website at www.bostonbar.org.
